When I was in elementary school, I asked my mom for a pink trilby (though I thought it was a fedora) with a bright red feather on it. For some reason, she bought the cheap hatĀ for me. While I never wore it much, it remained in my childhood bedroom, where my 2-year-old niece found it and reminded me of why I wanted the hat: I felt like a journalist with that red feather on my hat, and I liked feeling like a journalist.
While I'm not actively writing or photographing for a newspaper or magazine, I'm still telling stories through photos and small articles through the church I work at and with Know Your Neighbor - MetroWest.
Before moving to Boston in May 2023, I graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Biblical Studies-Languages. As my capstone, I published a photo book on book bans, and you can find that in my Work or buy it below.
